We started piecing this album together nearly three years ago and owe so much gratitude to everyone that has helped us along the way to reach this point. We have had amazing support from our fans at shows, online and via our Pozible campaign.. from the wider public via the countless busking sessions.. and this year, from Creative Victoria, who supported us with our album release plans in a year where a global pandemic brought all of our release and tour plans completely unstuck. ‘Malcura II’ features the singles ‘Captain Snus’ and title-track ‘Malcura’, as well as the long awaited studio recording of ‘Gerudo Valley’ (Theme from Legend of Zelda), which became an unexpected viral video on Youtube after a street performance was filmed in Melbourne’s Bourke Street Mall. The album also includes a surfy rendition of The Shadows’ classic ‘Man of Mystery’.
